Dining in a post COVID world

I wish Walmart, gas stations that serve hot food and similar would install one to a few outdoor picnic tables with reasonable spacing and a trash can a few feet away.

I know some places removed indoor seating during covid and indoor seating requires a fairly high service level to keep them clean and is generally expensive. But unless people really trashed the picnic tables, it wouldn't take that much to maintain them and they don't burn incidentals like AC.

Then expect at least some people who buy hot food and take it outside to return to the bathroom and wash up after eating. Don't act like that's weird.
